WELCOME TO CHRISTINE COONEY SINGS
An Extraordinary Jazz Diva with Soul, Mastery and Brilliance
COLLABORATIONS
Current collaborators include Bil Groth on Piano, Ché Cartafalsa on drums and Percussion, and Mark Gehret on Bass. Together they round out the line up in The Christine Cooney Jazz Quartet. From standards in the Great American Jazz Songbook to one-of-a-kind vocal interpretations of more contemporary material, her vocal genius transforms the ordinary gig experience to a show-stopping review.

Christine enjoyed her long term association as lead female vocalist with The Mystic Horns, a 9-piece RnB Swing Band performing the songbook of Buddy & Ella Johnson.
Singing with several local Big Bands led to the opportunity to provide vocals on Trumpeter Roger Ingram’s debut release “Live @ The College Hideaway” featuring The Jim Stewart Orchestra and his second release “Skylark.”

FOR THE SENIORS
The Senior Community is lining up in droves to book Christine to perform her one-hour shows. Journeying through 100 years of rich musical history with careful song selection, Christine elicits responses and emotions from the elderly by encouraging their participation and enjoyment of songs long forgotten but still familiar.
